From what I've seen most young people today wouldn't know what time it was looking at a watch, clock with hands. In 2017 I bought a pocket watch and when ever I pulled it out people tripped out. Young people couldn't tell the time looking at it. A few even asked me how did I know what time it was. I was born in the mid 1950's and got my first digital watch around 1979. I started wearing wristwatch in the early 1960's and it was instilled into my siblings and I about being on time. I also like seeing the day and date on the face. My favorite watch was a Timex with a blue face and stainless steel band I wore when I was on active duty. It saw three countries. The one I had the longest was an Ironman that was on its fifth battery when it died.
