Bertha Burruezo has always been the type that wants to be somebody's voice when a wrong has been committed against them. She knew that becoming a lawyer would help her to stand up for those who have been mistreated. After starting out in the insurance defense industry, she was transferred to an educational practice where she got to experience more of the employment law area. She loved it instantly and, from there, worked in litigations for 17 years.

After years of experience in litigation, Bertha realized there were more creative ways she could be helping her clients. One way she helps is by discussing her client's startup plans and running them through their choices, potential issues, and solutions. As a business owner herself, she understands the intricacies of owning a business and is able to offer advice and suggestions using her own experiences. She finds it satisfying that she is able to make such a big, positive impact on her client's work and life.
