What is Technical Debt?

We all know about debt and the pain that comes with it.
Even if you pay the debt back quickly, you’ll still pay more than you took. If you don’t, the debt will increase. Technical Debt is the same, when you choose to write software before you have a perfect understanding of your business needs, or when you decide to save time by shortcutting best possible practices, debt increases.
