What a beautiful gift. For the first 3 minutes I kept seeing and guessing what he was drawing. At first, I saw a woman, holding a baby in her arms, and raising it above her head. All of a sudden, at about the third minute, the image finally materialized in my mind, and I saw it for what it actually was.
That is one gift I used to have. During my fist years of school, my art teachers would not return the work I would submit to them as required by the curriculum. My mother would be furious for her too wanted to have the paintings or sculptures I use to create for class.
The teachers simply refused to return those works, citing that the materials provided were actually school property....😂 I didn't grow older to be an artist. I am sure the teachers expected that but, I am sorry... I disappointed them and myself as well.
I believe this is one of the most beautiful paintings I have ever seen. And I have seen a lot.

It has been a while, but what a treat to go into the new year with! I knew, there must appear a beutiful lady on the canvas and how she did shows what a master artist you are. After "casually" wiping the paint off to create space for her and a few loose brushstrokes, her face emerges, crowned by sunlight that you poured over her hair with your palet knife.
It reminds me of the quote from a sculptor, that the form and shape was already in the stone, his only work was, to reveal it.

This is the most mind blowing painting technique I’ve ever seen! He paints an item then leaves it alone. After a few seconds, that item and its context slowly materialises and its reason for being there intensifies, as if by magic! I had to rewind several times to confirm that I actually did see him paint the item. The context of the blue paint on the forehead was initially mysterious, but after a while, my eyes didn’t even see it any more, after its context slowly became established in my brain as light reflection. The same is true for the white and yellow paint in the sun-reflecting hair! And many other items. Wow! This is art at a philosophical level. Bends one’s mind.
