We set-up and review the Dragonhawk Mast Flip Pro wireless tattoo machine and talk you through it's features.

Featuring on-the-fly stroke adjustments and supporting both wireless and wired connections, the Dragonhawk Mast Flip Pro is a serious all-rounder tattoo machine with plenty of power.

The unique hammer head-shaped wireless battery pack provides 5-12 V of power for 5-7 hours of operation, with just 2 hours of charge with the included USB-C cable needed to hit its maximum potential. A large circular display screen on one side of the pack shows the current voltage level, with a dial around the screen for adjusting voltage in 0.1 V increments, and a power button to the side.

Once the battery is out of power, simply switch out the battery pack for the included RCA connector and keep the coreless motor going for as long as you need!

This machine supports both needle depth and stroke length adjustment on-the-fly - needle depth is controlled through the click grip system, while stroke length is managed via a dial at the top of the machine from 7 preset options.

The Mast Flip Pro measures 138 mm long when used with the wireless battery pack - or 124 mm alone - and the grip has a sturdy 32 mm diameter with ergonomic grooves. When combined with the battery pack, the entire setup weighs 268 g, which is lowered to 221 g when using the RCA connector.

I have it and it´s great, specially for bold lines, a bit heavy for soft shading compared with the Fold Pro, which I also have and it´s better balanced on weight and the distribution of it to the hand, being at the same time lighter compared with the Flip Pro and with less vibration.

Probably a fine machine but why switch to a wheel when previous versions have push buttons for voltage. When its all packed in foil or bags the rotating parts are annoying to handle.
