Camlica Mosque Istanbul - 4K | Çamlıca Camii - Tour of the Mosque, Gardens & full Adhan

This Mosque is magnificent and now is on the list of must see places In Istanbul.

I intended to spend a couple of hours on my visit and ended up staying for 6 hours!

There’s so much to see & absorb and I was in awe, I couldn’t take it all in - my next trip there has already been pencilled in!

There is a state of the art museum and an art gallery but both were closed at the time of my visit.

Getting There:

If you are staying on the European side then take the tram to Eminönü and take the ferry to Üsküdar.
I then just hailed a passing taxi to take me directly to the mosque- a 20 min ride which cost 50tlr - approx £5 (March 2022).

If you prefer there are also buses immediately outside where the ferry docks.

Not many tourists know this masjid because they don't really explore the Asia side of Istanbul. We went across Bosphorus Bridge to get to Camlica Hill viewpoint and then we went to this masjid. Personally I actually prefer this masjid over the Blue Mosque (even though that is amazing too)

I heard this mosque from british aisha’s youtube she said she become muslim after the adhan she heard here, and there is a icelandic girl and a dutch girl they both said they become muslim in this mosque.
