Next time the second baseman should wear a green-neon wig and throw confetti, hell, might as well.

that was more of a "bitch, please!" move as he just nonchalantly put his foot on the bag

I got this done to me once in a tournament championship game when i was 12 yrs old and they were celebrating like crazy jumping around and screaming even doing a chest bump because they got me out with it. My next at bat i had i hit a 3 run home run like 75 feet over the center field fence and they weren't so high and mighty anymore.

Absolutely Disgusting, the most relaxed and graceful and non-chalant foot tap to the base that will ever be witnessed

The best part is how he's so casual about putting his foot on the bag. He's been around the block I imagine.

The padres are like retired child actors. You hardly ever hear about them, but when you do it's not for a good reason.

You know MLB, a good recap of this would be actually showing the scene leading up to it...

Good sight on the incoming trick. One of the many highlights that shows how much the Pirates improved and got their first winning season after 20 years. Congrats to that!

Speaking of the Padres, the Pirates even dodged Andrew Cashner's perfect game. Congrats to that too! :P

I got this trick tried on me once. I knew the first baseman had the ball so I lifted my leg he tried to tag me but my foot was already back on the bag. Pissed him off, made my day.

I was at this game. It's funny, because back when A.J. was a Yankee, I knew he wouldn't last as an AL pitcher, so I was giving him some base running tips for his inevitable trade to an NL franchise. I told him to have fun, and warned him that infielders would try to take advantage of his inexperience. I taught him this move; I told him to lure the infielder into thinking he'd get the out, but then to quickly step on the bag before the tag. I was proud of him when he used the move, and after the game, all the Pirates were asking me to help them with their base running. I was glad to help.

As funny as it is to see a base runner tagged out through a hidden-ball trick, this video shows why it isn't very common.
