If a Crysis 4 should come one day I hope it will have Crysis 3's gameplay with the openess of 1st map !
Also a Crysis game with the current CryEngine would be insane (especially the sound part, that tech is SUPER good in their last game).

The issue with crysis 1 remastered is that they completely butchered the original color palette of the game.
And they do not want to give us modding tools to fix it ourselves.

For anyone who keep asking for Crysis 4, Crytek has stated the next game will have brand new storyline but the style and gameplay of previous Crysis games will remain the same, according to the game's producer Michael Elliot Reed !
