PLEASE NOTE: We filmed this review before the Coronavirus pandemic hit and before lockdown was enforced. We do not recommend leaving your home at this time except for essentials. Stay home, stay safe. This video has been ready and waiting for the last 4 weeks but was under Embargo from Hyundai until 11am this morning (for all publications), so sorry we had to keep you waiting.

What do you think of the new Creta? Can it replicate the success of its predecessor? Let us know in the comments:

We sometimes look for things absent but we hardly use many of them.
1) Reach adjustment in steering absent - I havent used it in my car ever coz seat adjustments are more than enough.
2) Auto wiper absent - This is one thing i would prefer to be included coz on a heavy rainy day it helps a lot.
3) 360 degree camera absent - Again hardly matters coz we already have reverse parking camera and two rear view mirror. So side camera is just a cosmetic presence.
4) Front parking sensor absent. - Again it depends on your confidence and judgement of things ahead of you.
The major things that are a boon in this newer versions are -
1) Paddle shifters - They help a lot in heavy traffic areas and for a quick over take.
2) Panoramic sun roof - Though cosmetic, it definitely removes the claustrophobic feel in a longer journey for the rear passenger.
3) Ventilated seats - Helps in a longer journey when leather seats tend to make the back wet and it definitely doesnt look good if you are heading for a meeting or a function.
4) Wireless charger - Helps a lot when you want to make or receive a call. You dont have to distract your vision from the road to pull out or push in the charging wire.
Things that should have been a bit better
1) Dual tone dash board in diesel version - Would have preferred a black dashboard like the petrol version. Looks more cooler.
2) Soft touch dashboard - Quality of dashboard desires to be better especially if you are spending 19 lakhs.
3) The engine power should have been better. Even S Cross and XUV 300 offer better torque in their diesel engines.
4) A heads up display like Kia Seltos would have helped during navigation.

I too felt that design was a bit too out of the box....but over the time it doesn't feel that ugly....

I don't know why people are hating the exterior so much(btw its their own choice 🙄) but i like it's exterior. It's completely different this time, kind of futuristic. But the wheel rim seems like too much is going on, didn't like that. But creta's features makes it more appealing. Also i love the panaromic sunroof😍

The back gives direct reference to Audi Q3 and when you are driving the the other engines 1.5ltr petrol and diesel auto would be waiting for the same nice informative review

I think creta's interior and Harrier's Exterior will make it a deadly combination which will be a straightforward choice for people who can spend around 20 Lakh.

Hyundai has properly benchmarked Audi Q3 and BMW X1, tried to pack most of their features and selling at half the price. Great work done!!👍🏼👍🏼 Though exterior is not that appealing.

Funny how the Creta went from one of the best designs in the country to one of the most hideous designs in the world.

The previous generation impressed more then the current one. More features doesn’t guarantee success but yes in India it does 😊

I totally dig this this new creta. Especially the design. Awesome. Thanks hyundai to make it a new car all together. Snd not just a facelift with a grill change.
