Mr. Wayne's signature lightning fast chops (so characteristic of his early output) took me about a full month of daily practice before I could even comprehend the structure of this monolith on shredding history.

Lil Wayne’s impeccable phrasing in that solo really showcased the harmonic essence of the Dorian augmented double-flat mixolydian mode. He created a mesmerizing interplay between the diminished lydian #9 subtonic and the augmented submediant. Truly sublime.
