Clarkson got me into farming. I saw the first season and thought "how hard can it be?" NEVER say that. I grew lettuce and broccoli last year, then that 38C heatwave hit and turned 90% my crops to ash. This year, i've got lettuce, broccoli, pumpkins, raspberry, strawberry, tomato and a chili plant growing. I also have onions that i just sowed indoors.

Rubbish... I come from a farming background in the UK & keep in touch with dozens of farmers back there... one quote sums it up: "Jeremy Clarkson has done more in two seasons of his show to highlight the plight of British farming than the NFU did in the last 50!
