Working on hardened metals is still too difficult for me. I shit in my pants every time i hit the start button.
But the chips that came out from this part are beautiful. Never seen chips so deep blue, before.

Can I ask, this looks like a gravity die, why does it need to be hardened?
Our gravity dies are almost always made from cast iron.

why you Don't use a coolant? it is really more beneficial than wet machining?
