Air India Express flight makes emergency landing in Trichy after mid-air scare

An Air India flight from Trichy to Sharjah that encountered a technical issue due to hydraulic failure on Friday and circled in the air to burn off fuel landed safely back at the Trichy Airport. While the situation was under DGCA monitoring, to ensure safety, over 20 ambulances and fire tenders were put on standby at the airport, according to Airport Director Gopalakrishnan.
