This video does not show at all how loud this actually was in theaters

This in Imax 70mm was amazing beyond all levels. Crispness of the image. Sound litterally making your heart beat. 💯

This and the Dune intros are really something else.

It's crazy how Oppenheimer initially felt like a movie with no replay value for me. When I saw it for the first time, I loved it and thought to myself, “I might watch this again, but not for a long time.” I compared it to The Dark Knight or Inception, movies I could rewatch over and over again. Then my cousin wanted to see it, so I joined him, and to my surprise, it was even better on the second viewing. I watched it again with my girlfriend at the time, and unsurprisingly, it was even better on the third viewing.

After its release on 4K, I’ve rewatched it countless times, and it has never gotten old for me. That’s when I realized how wrong I was. This movie has immense replay value. From the writing and directing to the sound design, technical aspects, and acting, everything is masterful. I know it might be too soon to say, but this movie might have become my favorite Nolan film.

I love how multiple characters challenge the idea presented in this quote.
