Learn how to do a temporary repair of a pothole using cold lay tarmac.
Simply sweep all loose debris out of the pothole.
Line the pothole with bitumen edge sealer- this will help the cold lay tarmac adhere.
Next pour in our cold lay tarmac material- compact in 25mm layers.
Compact the tarmac using a tarmac punner or whacker plate. Make sure the mixture is fully compacted.
When this is complete you can traffic instantly!

Should have cut a nice square hole for even thickness of asphalt and sealed the edges

Would have been a great clip if it wasn't for the horrifically annoying music.

I've just done this to some holes I have right by my drive not as big as this hole but more cracks... I done the exact same method but I put the bitumen spray on the top after... Will it be ok to drive over it's been about 3 hours since it was done...👍🏻

Thank you I've never seen that before.
I suppose I can get the tar at most merchants.

Best way is too search around for used tarmac left at side of road by tarmac gangs. Load it on to trailer. Clean out pot holes then break up used tarmac in the holes. Pour lighted petrol onto tarmac and pound down with heavy implement. Job done.
