Great idea, I have a Kia that does not make a cargo cover. I didn’t think of a tension rod. Thank you!

Cool! I never considered trying cardboard for this. I kept trying just the rods with a fabric and that had no stability in the middle for the fabric. I wouldnt recommend spray painting the cardboard since the sunlight and heat can cause off-gassing and resilt in fumes in the car. Thank you for posting this!!! I have the perfect Amazon box to use 😁
