The cars are disposable. After about 6 years the battery will not hold a charge giving the owner two options - replace the battery (yeah right) or buy another car.

I have a 23 year old BMW and a 21 year old Audi. Both run fine and have never required a 20 to $30, 000 service. And that's the other part - as old as my cars are - they can be serviced or repaired. With a Tesla - a seemingly minor accident will probably total it out.

Built in obsolescence. That seems to be the Tesla motto.

What other USA EV sold like Teslas? The Chevy Bolt? Give me a break. Then there's the stupid trucks And finally, why don't GM and Ford build a fast charging network? Instead, you have to scout around for a single charger in an obscure location that is either broken or has an ICE vehicle blocking it. Teslas are awesome and all other EVs are not catching up.
