Note - The device does not in fact have an RK3562, and it's actually an RK3326. This already was never a recommended purchase, and now, it's even further down the list. Whether they didn't know or did know about the chip difference makes no difference, it's false advertising.

I received mine black one ; i don't understand you build quality is great ; it easily plays dreamcast n64 a psx it is powerful ; if it gets some custom firmware it wil be the perfect handheld ;abd screen is beautiful

Between this and the A30 review with the front plate that fell off, you've had extra bad luck with handhelds recently. I went with clear black and didn't have serious heat issues even while testing the Saturn core under stock firmware so maybe I just got lucky, or I'm not pushing the system enough. With extremely limited testing time maybe I'd notice more problems with more usage too.

Overall I liked the RK3562 for what it is in this early stage, even in a reduced capacity with stock firmware, and I agree about the nice screen and decent sticks. Look forward to Plum OS or other custom firmware. Though, must admit, it would be nice if a company manages to nail hardware, software and price at launch.

You seem to have a defective unit Joey. I've not seen anyone else have shell separation issues and I've not heard anyone else report speaker distortion. The volume doesn't get that high but it's clear on the max setting.

the chip is 12nm, the price is acceptable, BTW allwinner h700 is 28nm,

I see these cute new handhelds and I want to have them all but then I remember I have my beloved Miyoo Mini+ and Odin2 and I know I don't need anything else :)

I appreciate the honest review. Hopefully the XU folks can take the feedback and make improvements. From what I understood they are fairly new to the retro gaming space. Initially I was interested in this device. Though I think all these micro devices should have WiFi and BT included at this point.

Hi. I want to ask. If i want to update the OS, do i have to write it fresh everytime and copy the games back everytime?. Can't i just flash it on the OS partition only?

I literally purchased this device hours before you uploaded this video. I got the device yesteday and it was bricked at the opening screen from the get go like your device. I am returning it today. FYI DON’T BUY THIS TRASH DEVICE WITH A TRASH SD CARD

I just want one of these devices with good build quality and especially a good D-pad. Hard to find in the budget category. I'll pay a bit more for good build but I shouldn't have to move up to the $200 price point.
