But every time I flick it goes varial or if I commit to the trick I can't get my foot out fast enough to catch it

See this is what skate support should be like. This kids ollies were awesome, his kickflips were pretty damn clean, his pop shuvits were nice. He obviously works hard on his skating. He doesn't just pop his tail and call it an ollie like in all of the kickflip skate supports. Like he said "I watch all of tre flip videos but can't get them just yet". He is good at skating.

one thing that would help to for him would be learning varials first to get the started of the rotation I mean tre flips I've honestly have only landed twice but have got varials down first.

One thing that could help with the flick is bringing your front foot back a bit. You should also imagine that you are trying to kick something in front of you

If you could, kickflip, you can tre flip. You need to stay over your board much like a kickflip. Also, it's more of a pop than it is a scoop. Your front flip should be doing a kickflip motion. Lastly, either jump high or keep you feet above your board because if you don't your back foot will always be under your board when your deck comes swinging around. Hope I helped a little!

trust in your board and you will ultimately trust in yourself and therefore skate like a boss

So a few days ago My friend and I got really bored and all of a sudden we started riding and he's only ridden a skateboard enough to be able to push so basically no background experience in skating and then he says he wants to learn to ollie and i showed him the SMS how to ollie video and he learned the ollie in 10 minutes! I mean sure he had me to give him any tips he needed but it was mostly the work of SkateboardingMadeSimple

dude its there all u need to do it leap for that board and with your back foot scoop it. you dont have to flick off as much as u would a kickflip beacuse the rotation comes mostly from the scoop keep at it took me about a week of trying them all day every day one u have one u can continue to do them good luck skate hard and skate well my friend

I find it really easy if I kinda push my knees together when I bend down but keep back foot perpendicular to the tail. Toes grabbing the board

I have the same problem as him except i actually flick it.  When i don't focus on the flick i get the tre flip so good and land it high but ON THE GRAPHIC... When i do focus on the flick it freaking sucks. Please give me some tips

I'd learn 360 pop shoves, it helped me out a lot.
