HURLEY SURF CLUB | HOW TO FS TUBERIDE LIKE ACE BUCHAN

preview_player
Показать описание
In this Hurley Surf Club How To episode, Ace shows us that the key to a good FS tuberide is timing, positioning and shaping your body to fit the tube. After that, it’s all about styling your way to the channel. Because, after all, tuberiding is like pizza. Even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. Make sure you celebrate.

I love the quality and editing of your guys videos. They inspire me to do better with the stuff we are working on. However it is hard to relate to this one because the barrel is so Epic and Ace makes it look so easy!!! Keep it up though because I love what HSC is all about!!!!

Wish it could've talked more about how to make late drops going frontside to set up for the barrel. You guys say make sure your not too deep or too wide, but you don't even tell you how to put yourself in that position. Most barrels the majority of people take are due to late drops, and thats the only reason I struggle with them.

I've learned nothing from this. It's obvious you have to fit yourself in, thats what im trying to do... Just tell me how to.
Not everyone has a 2nd Teahupoo in their backyard with barrels big enough to stand tall and pump for speed.
I feel like they skipped the hard and interesting part:

Do you knife the takeoff or are you supposed to to a bottom turn?
How deep do I have to make my bottom turn?
Do I stay high on the face, or is it better to stay low?
Am I supposed to point my board parallel to the wave or do I point slightly towards the beach?
How do I place my feet and shift my weight?

I thought this video was going to give more advice on how to actually ride a barrel? Like breaking down barrel riding techniques. Not just talking about how fun it is to get barreled
