Thanks for the video. I put my old fob in the oven at 200F for 20 mins to soften the adhesive. It opened right up by hand.

this also worked for my vauxhall/opel meriva b key.
I carefully sliced the glue joints with a utility knife first so it was easier to pry open.

I would add to make sure the remote works before installing the new emblem over that screw. It probably gets damaged if you have to reopen it.
