Nice! Thorough footage its not at all tunnel vision. or too distant. I have a cheapie from temu. I don't think it overrides so I don't bother with it. But maybe it does🙂

You should really think about hard wiring it using that kit b/c doing so would give you parking mode 24/7, even if your car is off and sitting in a garage or street. It won't kill your car battery as the cameras use motion sensing and/or timelapse loop recording. I have a 2ch Thinkware F&R dashcam hardwired to my car for 5 yrs and no issues. Plugging it into your cig lighter means you will not get constant recording, so if your car gets hit, you won't have footage. Hard wiring gives your interior a cleaner look too without any cables hanging loose and it frees up a cig lighter for a car charger for instance. @2:40 you're incorrect and I think you're getting them mixed up---the rear camera on/near the rear license plate is your backup camera--Its not a dashcam that's constantly recording. Backup cameras only come on when you're reversing so you can see what you're backing up into

I had my A229 Plus installed last week via hardwire. Why is it advertised as 2K when 2k isn't a choice of resolution in setting? It's a 1440 x 30 fps

Can you help me with pictures? I have a 1995 2nd gen atm 3vze 4runner. There were some bad contact wires, some in short circuit and others broken by rats so I decided to repair the harness by disassembling it, repair is success, and guess what? I lost all the photos I took, now I'm a little lost to reassemble it. Need photos of passenger side of the engine bay, can you help PLEEEEASE?
