I had been wounded in Vietnam and sent to the VA hospital in Phoenix Arizona! Vietnam Vets we're treated as lepers and blamed for the war!! No one came to see me and they even had an article in the Arizona Republic newspaper about my decorations!!.This song came on the radio and it reminded me of my Dear John letter my girlfriend sent a young lieutenant (me) and how alone I felt!!
I drank myself silly for 13 years and was able to quit! I took my last drink 4/3/83 and haven't had a drink since then! Every time I hear this song it reminds me of that loneliness and how haunting it was for me in that period of my life!
I love your group I am so glad I discovered your people! You are the most talented group of young musicians I have seen or heard of in a long long time! Thank you so much for helping me with my PTSD and those early morning hours when I listen to your group! You have helped me tremendously Thank You So Much!!

This song reminds me of my mom's death. I was the top of my life, living in Nottingham, England, driving my best car, living in best house and planted in my dream law career. Then everything tumbled when my mom died and i had to leave everything behind. This song was by then a top chart. I have never brought myself to find any strength to listen to all of it or save it to my play list. But I listened to He's So Shy by HSCC and it showed as a suggestion. Reluctantly, I played it. Although teary, I finished listening after 20 years of trying. Thanks a lot HSCC. You did such an excellent job with it. It's Thanksgiving weekend and she is not here and I get extremely depressed, but I carry on for the sake of my kids. They need me and in my daughters, I see her. God bless everyone.
