This documentary reveals a little-known story of 300 young orphaned Jewish refugees who began new lives in England’s Lake District in the summer of 1945.

There are in-depth documentaries on how the parents were denied visas to escape with their children. These poor children received letters from their parents before the parents deportation to death or concentration camps and the parents begged these poor children to try to convince the adoptive families to save their lives. The parents often knew death awaited in camps.
