DIY: Homemade MAC Fix+ Setting Spray

What you will need:
*Glycerin (I use about 10 drops for dry skin)

*Toner of any kind(I prefer alcohol free/about 2/3 filled)

You can also use Rose Water and/or Witch Hazel like this:

Distilled or Filtered room temperature water(about 1/3 filled)

Apple cider vinegar is an amazing replacement for toner! I get perioral dermatitis and it's the only toner with tannins that doesn't make me flare up! Alcohol free too, just have to get past the smell. I use water, acv, emu oil (10x better than coconut oil) and glycerin for mine and I use it every day even if I don't use make up. Haven't had perioral flare in over a year 😊. I have insanely dry skin and this is the best thing I've found!!!

I started making my own but under the smashbox primer water and setting spray and not knowing that they all are the same lol in the DIY 's so when I looked up the Mac prep prime and it was same ingredients . . I'm happy with my own I make at home!

just murdered me and sent me to setting spray heaven hunny. So Im combo/oily. My T-zone is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, Im thinking about making a matte & dewy version. Dewy version having more glycerin added and the matte version ill actually add alcohol to!!! You just solved one of my BIGGEST problems. Damn I love you mannn❤❤❤❤❤💐💐💐💐💐💐

I love rose water! I use it on my face, hair, I keep a small spray bottle in my purse in hotter months for instant cooling... I can't recommend it enough. I get mine in the Middle Eastern section at a local international market.

Thanks for explaining how to make it more dewy or matte! I like having a more dewy spray to use with my loose powder foundation

I use the exact same glycerin, distilled water, and toner with witch hazel. . I want to get the pure witch hazel instead of my toner but it works great... My dickinsons toner does not have alcohol in it and I do have dry skin... Love your hair!

I like that toner. And I also like L'OREAL toner as well. They both smell fresh and clean. Thank for the update info.

Its not pure rose water like there are other ingredients in it but they're all good ones. GNC carries this line called Thayers. They have a rose water one that works really well.
