WNBC Morning Newscast (October 6, 2007)

A morning news cut-in, this one the weekend edition, on WNBC (channel 4) in New York City, NBC's flagship station. This aired during the Saturday Today Show, which then featured Lester Holt before his tenure on the evening news.

Michael Gargiulo anchors, Monica Morales does a report, and SallyAnn Mosey has the weather. In the news, a fog advisory is issued for the city as smoke billows around it, and a hit-and-run turns fatal with the suspects on the loose. NYC hit summer-like weather to begin October, continuing into Columbus Day.
