I remember very well: When it was announced on the evening of the election in 2016 that Trump had won, I immediately felt so sick, that I could have puked.
Trump to be president of the USA, ... it was an unbearable thought, even if he was not known that well n our country. But we witnessed the debates and so we learned, this man is something like a troublemaker. And so he turned out to be and it stayed that way, even getting worse. We learned about his egomania we learned about, how he treated people, criticizing him. We learned about his despiteful behaviors on others. And he never excused a hateful comment later.
America is now faced with the decision of the Republican senators, wether Trump is found guilty, but not removed, or guilty and removed, or nothing of both.
And me, I'm deeply afraid of the outcome. And I explain this to you.

I am German and of course I know about our own sad history. We all have to live with that burden, although my generation was born so much later. We have to cope with that.
And one day I found an old foldet newspaper in one of my dad's books. It was datet on the day before the election that brought Hitler to power. My father must have kept the newspaper for us, for his children, as an intense warning, never to forget, what had happened and how it began. In that old paper was an article by Hitler's counterparty. This counterpart warned the people about him- they did it before but this was the last possible time for them, to send a thoughtful, serous warning.
This party almost begged people on their knees not to make this all-important mistake to vote for Hitler. In Vain! (how must the have felt)

If people had listened, the should have known what kind of sick plans have formed out in Hitler mind, but they didn't believe it! They thought, Noone can be so devilish. They were wrong. What followed was the darkest chapter in German history, and a horror, you can not imagine until you have seen it on your own. There are lots of videos and movies, of books and stories from Witnesses, and I hope, they're still be read and listened to. Then I think,
If only we could go back in time !!! If we could !!! If only we could, what if nothing of it had happened?!!!
But we cannot. We have to live with the consequences and the knowledge of the crucial things that happened because people closed their eyes to the danger.

Now I see you. I see your Republicans who don't understand the signs. They are unteachable. Either they have sold their soul to the devil or they have no backbone to vote against their colleagues. They are afraid of the consequences of their own. And this is SO SO wrong!!!!
Please do what you can to make your Senator vote for Trumps removal.
This man is too dangerous. As uncontrolled as he acts, he could even trigger a nuclear war. This is not a joke. Please act smarter than the Germans from earlier years. We didn:t react in time. But you still can.
Do it. Make him go! Now.
The world will be a better place, if he's out.
