Made the mistake of starting to watch this at midnight…couldn’t stop. Amazing story. And a lot of emotions

I miss Y2k so much, the 2000's were amazing. And this reminds me of my Von Dutch days in the 2000s. And Crazytown Butterfly was so perfect for this intro!

It’s a really really good documentary!! When I say riveting, I mean it.. I had a couple t-shirts and a trucker hat from the brand back in the day, I actually still have the t-shirts, but I had no idea about all this fiasco behind it… it’s exciting and sad all in one.. so much emotions in one show man… can’t give away too much, but if you’re into fashion, or business, or the business of fashion, or if you’re just looking for a good modern documentary, this is it!!

Guys... watch this now! I've only seen the first episode, but its crazy! Major 90s-2000's nostalgia too. 👏🏼🙌🏼

I'm always amazed at the amount of money people will spend to be a walking billboard for someone else.

Very very very good documentary!! It is definitely worth the watch. In my humble opinion I believe Mike, Bobby, and Ed should have been sole owners of the brand. Mike and Bobby had the heart and vision of what the artist himself would want his brand to be and more. Ed carried the rights because of the permission he received from the daughter's of von dutch.

One of the best documentaries I've watched this year. I could listen to Bobby tell stories all day

This was really good!! Their stories were very interesting especially Bobby was crazy I wouldnt have expected to end the way it did. And Mark was deff scammed.. He deserved better.

The real Von Dutch, a reclusive artist & pin striper who lived in an old bus, would never have had anything to do with this. He's no doubt puking in his grave over what his family did to his name after his death.

The story of Von Dutch is what movie and tv producers wish they created.

Felt like Jeff Lowe was about to come out in this documentary too. Theirs so much darkness in this one brand that I never knew about

I like how some lyrics of the song actually tie in to what’s going on.

"Nothing is original, everything has been done before" - Von Dutch

We were thinking of making low cut denim with a new style of stitching.

Mike: "No! that's not original"

This is a very well done documentary. Lots of content, many conflicting views and information of the brand, players and history that I had no idea about.

I watched this recently on Prime-I just saw it there and was intrigued-binged the whole thing! The music and atmosphere brought me back to the 2000s, the end of middle school and all through high school and college, the nostalgia was palpable and exciting. This documentary was well done.

I didn't know about the clothing, I remember the flying eyeball, but I always knew Von Dutch for hotrods, flames, and pinstripes.

I'm so glad I didn't remember first hand all the reality tv, nonsense, and gratuitous branding. I completely agree with the "no respect".

It's sad, but nothing new that multiple people will claim creation, the interviews were all professional and fair.

It was cool seeing the man behind it all, but as for the letter, with no corroboration, I won't belive it's alleged legitimacy and won't judge the man by today.

I found it a little hypocritical that they were worried about all the counterfeits when they got their start, buying Levi's and replacing the label with theirs.
