lyrics:
This is a thing I've never known before
It's called easy livin'
This is a place I've never seen before
And I've been forgiven
Easy livin' and I've been forgiven
Since you've taken your place in my heart
Somewhere along the lonely road I had tried to find you
Day after day on that windy road I had walked behind you
Easy livin' and I've been forgiven
Since you've taken your place in my heart
Waiting, watching
Wishing my whole life away
Dreaming, thinking
Ready for my happy day
And some easy livin'
Somewhere along the lonely road I had tried to find you
Day after day on that windy road I had walked, walked behind you
Easy livin' and I've been forgiven
Since you've taken your place in my heart
Easy livin' and I've been forgiven
Since you've taken your place in my heart

The first time I heard Easy Livin' was around age 10. The entire A-side of Demons & Wizards is absolute gold.

Its definitely music to speed to.

What most are missing.. the lead singer David Byron is looking upward when he sings. "I've been forgiven". .. it's truly. Heavenly inspired! Jd

Hello in the seventies( I was 16) years old and that is the best music of the world and it is cool that many young kids hear this music 👍👍🥰🥰🥰

WOW, you are officially the ONLY channel that has done a Uriah Heep reaction... good times. Great tune. FYI - Uriah Heep is one of the main characters in Dickens' David Copperfield novel. respect :)

A memorial for the Hammond organ. R.I.P. Ken. They were my very first live concert in January 1978. Easy Livin' was the second to last song on the setlist and as a young organ player I was completely blown away.

I was a junior in high school 1972 this was the first album I bought by them and I have been a fan ever since I own everything they have ever recorded through all the musician changes over the 50 year career! Oddly enough or shall I say sadly enough, the lineup on the original “easy livin” There is only one original member still with us and that would be Mick Box the guitarist! He still leads the band today in 2022 and Uriah Heep has a new album completed and ready to be released! Looking forward to seeing more Uriah Heep on this channel!

Sadly, only one member of this classic line up is still alive. Guitarist Mick Box, he still tours with Heep today. Live long and rock hard!

Check out the band "Rainbow". Two reasons, Ronnie James Dio and Richie Blackmore. Two of the godfathers of the metal genre

When my wife and I were married in 1972, we bought a console stereo and several new albums to play on it, including this one. Really underappreciated falsetto harmonies by these guys. Amazing music...they were trendsetters.

I finished high school in 1976, and every year I was there, so was this song. I enjoyed watching you hear it for the first time, and your relating it to driving. Although my driving record is spotless, I’ve always been a speeder. Now I know why! 😉

One of Histories most underrated bands of all time. Similar to Deep Purple but more diverse with acoustic music and some jazz influences....one of my favorites.
