Python scripting for geoprocessing tables and feature classes in ArcGIS

Week 7 Preview.The python scripting stand-alone table assignments are to process 15 years of tables of spring snow data to a table with columns as years, rows as elevation zones, process a stream discharge table to annual stream discharge tables. The geoprocessing of points include comparing the vegetation class of randomly located points with animal location points, and create 10-cm, 20-cm,30cm...100-cm in memory to test the hypothesis that seedling height growth is related to seedling density. The linear referencing applications include summarizing accident locations by 10-mile stretch of highway, and determining the stream information for culverts that originate from a point event table. The polygon applications include computing the percent area by vegetation class and creating an error matrix for validating vegetation polygons with ground truth plot points.
