How did you set up the cables?
Did you have both your dj and mic on the mixer board and mixer board to dbx gorack?

Or

Did you run your DJ controller to aux on dbx gorack and mic to mixer to dbx line in

Or

Dj controller to mixer board to aux gorack and mic to line in on gorack
