I’ll say this being an iPhone 15 Pro Max user, the phone somehow improves in many ways after using it for several weeks. I don’t know how that works. Never happened for any other electronics that I’ve used.

It’s crazy that my iPhone 15 Pro Max has replaced a laptop for me. With 8 GB RAM, it’s as fast as a MacBook base model, has an OLED screen, touchscreen, and I can print and do anything a MacBook can really for general use.

ipad has more stuff to load since more content is visible on the screen when it comes to the content that needs to be fetched from the internets, so it would look like it's slower

Well, this isn’t really a fair test because snappiness can very from device to device, while at the same time the iPad is clearly WAY more powerful. The graphics score definitely lines up with the difference in GPU cores (6 vs 10). In CPU, the iPhone’s has a higher clock speed and therefore single core score - the highest of any mobile device on the market in fact, 3.78 GHz and 2800-3000 score - but the iPad is way stronger with double the P-cores for multi. It’s like a giant 18-wheeler compared to a V8 super car, one is zippier but ain’t no slowing down that 18-wheeler when it gets going.
