Dubfire – Time Warp 2018 (Full Set HiRes) – ARTE Concert

Trotz Grammy-Krönung für sein Duo Deep Dish zieht es Ali Shirazinia weiter, er möchte als Solist seiner großen Liebe nachgehen: Underground House und Techno. Unter dem Namen Dubfire entwickelt der in Washington D.C. aufgewachsene Iraner seit 2007 komplexe Live-Set-Ups, mit denen er Musik sowohl wiedergibt als auch on the fly entstehen lässt.
Fasziniert von den Möglichkeiten, die durch die Einbindung von Technik entstehen, entwickelt Dubfire seine Live-Show HYBRID: Animationen und Lichtinstallationen erweitern sein auditives Schaffen zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk. Nicht nur Musiker und Entwickler, sondern ebenso Unternehmer betreibt er sein Label SCI+TEC. Sein Leben als Mensch, vom Flüchtling zu einem der bekanntesten DJs und Produzenten in der Elektronischen Musik Szene ist seit 2017 in der Dokumentation „Above Ground Level“ zu sehen.

Ali Shirazinia explore de nouveaux horizons. Il veut s’adonner en solo à ses deux passions : la house underground et la techno. Sous le nom de Dubfire, cet Iranien qui a grandi à Washington réalise depuis 2007 des set up live complexes, dans lesquels il restitue la musique tout en la créant à la volée.
Fasciné par les possibilités offertes par la technique, Dubfire crée le live show HYBRID : des animations et installations lumineuses enrichissent sa création auditive pour en faire une œuvre d’art totale. Il gère son label SCI+TEC comme musicien, développeur, mais aussi chef d’entreprise. Son parcours personnel, de réfugié à l’un des plus célèbres DJ et producteurs de musique électronique, a fait l’objet d’un documentaire paru en 2017 « Above Ground Level ».

And i have seen a lot 🤘🏼
This was a masterpiece from the moment he took over and everything went deep and dark, and everyone was quiet, at least for second.
He is a puppetmaster like not many others.!!

For me this is peak Dubfire. A perfectly crafted sound which he had been working on for more than 10 years. I still love him nowadays and will always do, but during these years he was just simply something else in my eyes. Unique, dark, sexy and groovy. Yes, groovy as fuck
