FFS. Where is smart screen like android. Clear & colourful screen show the live of remain time and break without press the button. I wonder why so many new drivers like me are confused to understand how to operation old LCD screen.

Iv messed it up on my first job
After 4.5hrs i stopped and forgot to put it on break and to me i was on break but taco wasn't
Had a 2.5 hour rest instead but it was recorded as other work.
Now i am scared and frustrated incase i get pulled 😢

So we’ve got self-driving cars, AI that can roast you better than your friends, but somehow we’re still stuck with these clunky, ancient-feeling tachographs. It’s like they’re stuck in the early 2000s while the rest of us are living in the future. Looks like bureaucracy loves to move at the speed of a snail in molasses. I have a feeling that until regulations catch up, drivers are still stuck plugging in those cards and dealing with physical devices like it’s Y2K all over again.

I mean, we’ve got smart toasters now, but nope, no app-only tachographs just yet, even if you think of turning that into a business idea.
