I work for PH and all the melts made of is a half a medium thin crust dough cut in half with various toppings/sauces. To be fair tho u get a marinara with it which is completely different than our pizza sauce.

I loved their calzones when they had them a few years ago and got it all the time. I was disappointed when they took it off the menu but got excited when I saw they’re bringing melts into the menu, but upon tasting it my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Now I just want them to bring the calzones back

The dough sucks because it comes in frozen. I've worked at Pizza Hut and the pizza dough comes in as frozen discs, they put them in a warmer for a couple hours, then eventually the dough gets topped and cooked, but not before dousing it with oil in a pan.
