In Tangled the series it’s revealed that Mother Gothel is like ancient, so it’s possible that snow white’s story happened a while before Rapunzel’s, but I’d have to look into it more because the time lines might not match up the right way. If she is the evil queen that would be really cool tho

Yes but the thing is that mother gothel used the flowers power to keep young but shes still aging, when rapunzel got her hair cut, the power cut out meaning that mother gothel went back to the age she actually is and because when she first found the flower, she was insanely old and since it had been 18 years, she wouldve died. Hence the reason why she disappeared

Added to the fact that Mother Gothel was tripped and fell from Rapunzel's tower, turning to dust.

Honestly, if they're not the same person, the they at least might be from the same coven.

To add to this theory. Yes, we see Gothel at the bottom of a cliff. But she knows of the location of the tower she took Rapunzel to, after kidnapping her. So, perhaps before finding the flower, or in between using the flowers power, she built the tower. This makes sense considering she knows that there is a secret stairwell leading up to the tower. And she planned to keep Rapunzel in a lower part of that tower.

How would she know so much about that tower, if she didn't build it? Sure, she could have explored. But even then, how would she have gotten in the tower, if not through via the secret stairwell, that she would have had to known existed?

its weird tho that if she were both: she goes from trying to KILL her daughter just out of jealousy. to taking care of a baby till teenage years!! and yes she might have trapped her, tricked and munipulated her- she didn't hurt her, she sang to her, went out to get her food, brushed her hair and gave her fun entertainment like crafts and painting. and ngl from the movie she was nice to her and acted nicer than some moms do in real life-

Yes!!! Also Gothel tricked Rapunzel into thinking Flynn was bad so she could have her for herself.
She wanted the hair and she was vain just like the evil queen

Tangled the series gave more mother Gothel content and no, she was a witch training for an alchemist-magician but betrayed him with the other students and have been finding ways to stay young, so she used the sunflower healing power unable to remove it because it will activate it's counter-part's magic the Moonstone that can destroy the world.
She had a daughter, but she abandoned her to go kidnap Rapunzel and keep her youth. Her daughter was taken to the capital of Corona and raised but the Captain of the Royal Guards.
