Jesus Commands Us to Go Armed

Jesus told his disciples to take nothing for their journey; that God would provide all their needs. But later, He told them to even sell their clothes if necessary to buy a sword to protect themselves.
The reason for the difference in the message is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven had now been put on hold.

Jesus said, .."go, ..and take up your swords". I interpret this as, . let small things go, ..turn the other cheek, .. vengeance surely belongs to the he Lord, ... but we're allowed to protect ourselves 🕊️
