I saw her in another video literally blocking *anyone* from getting a picture on the left while she stood nuzzling the horse, and loudly guffawing for at least 5 minutes. “Look at me, I’m *so* special the horse likes me not you all trying to get a picture on the right.” Annoying as all get out. It was inevitable she’d progress to grabbing the reins. Serves her right.

Each guard spend 6-8 hours per night polishing kit, dismantling the bridle as well and polishing each rein and band on it. The last thing they need is a tourist with sticky fingers putting fingerprints all over their hard work. Not to mention it takes away control of the horse from the rider. They are taught to ride without reins and without stirrups. Most guards never rode a horse prior to joining the Household Cavalry and underwent a 16 week training course...the hardest in the British Army.

This is the famous Karen that bothers the horses and guards over and over and over again on other videos, except she doesn’t have her head covering on. No matter how many times she is told to back away and quit touching the horses and guards she returns. She is one of the rudest persons that won’t take “ go away “ seriously. She is a menace to everyone.

Some people are so entitled. He is doing his job, and people get told off for touching the reins, that is how he controls the horse. She would be the first to moan if the horse knocked her over, or bit her. I think the public should not be allowed so near, but then, people like her would still ignore any signs that may be put up.

I don't think they have enough protection from the tourists to be honest. The way they behave as if they are entitled to do anything they like, I think it's amazing that the soldiers don't go berserk at them because they get laughed at and ridiculed on a daily basis. I think it's time something was done to show that they aren't there for the tourist entertainment but are actually performing a very important duty

Anyone who has ever been around horses knows do not ever grab the reins or halter of a horse unless you are trying to take control. Getting shouted at is mild compared to getting you butt run over by a horse.

The degree of entitlement people have these days is quite staggering.
I don't know how or why it happened, but somewhere along the recent line it did, and if it continues to grow then God help us!
