The film was originally going to release in September which is what hasbros release timeline was lined up to. The movie was briught forward but the figures couldn't be. Its simple.

The eternals wave actually did have a deluxe and a BAF, I personally enjoyed the movie but I can see where you’re coming from, I agree that there should be more figures from this movie

It takes them 18 months to go from idea to release. They likely didn't have access to most of the movie as well.

The enternals wave was done because it was all of the enternals. Those characters weren't kept secret and I think the figures came out before the movie because the movie was delayed.

Definitely licensing issue. Most marvel movies ie avengers and eternals have waves come out in their entirety either during the movie or before. With spiderman and the x-men there’s clearly issues with releasing figures in tandem with the movies. Remember how long it took to get Deadpool figures? We didn’t even think we’d see them release any. Clearly there’s some issue affecting the release of figures. Idk why but clearly there is

Its a good thing i mostly collect transformers and gi joe from hasbro, i collect marvel legends just hasnt been anything that peaked my intrest until the wolverine and deadpool. But with transformers at least for the most part they come out way before the movie. Sure they probably didnt have time cause the movie was put out earlier than planned, but still. Dont know why im really complaining, glad were getting them at
