How to Empower HEROIC DRAGONS in Dragon City! FULL Summoning and Empowering Cycle Explained!

Hello there! So we just had the most recent heroic race which had the new High Famine dragon as the main dragon reward! The other event reward dragons were the Hunger, Chains and Skullface dragons!

Today I'll be hatching this new dragon and going through how you can get enough orbs to empower this new heroic! The summoning, recalling and empowering cycle can sound a little complicated at first but it's pretty simple in essence - you need to get at least 1 copy of a dragon to begin the "cycle".

Immediately after a heroic race event ends, heroic combat quests will unlock which give you the opportunity to get a LOT of bonus heroic orbs for the new heroic that you have just unlocked! You'll need to gem the hatching timer for the heroic and level up the heroic, legendary, and heroic dragons from the heroic race in order to take part in the heroic quests, but they're definitely worth it if you're looking to empower your new heroic!

Heroic Combat I and Heroic Combat II combined can give you up to 320 heroic orbs for High Famine if you manage to complete all 11 stages of these quests! That's enough to start off your empowerment journey, however, this isn't the only way to get orbs for heroic dragons!

You'll also need to be ranking up your heroic dragon by getting the last hits/defeats using your dragon in the various battle types in the game! Regular quests, league, arena, and Facebook friends fights all count toward boosting the rank of your dragon, so you'll need to be doing ALL of these to get the 500 defeats necessary to get to platinum 3!

Once you've collected the rank-up orbs, it's time to start summoning a duplicate heroic and starting the rank-up process again! Once your second heroic is fully upgraded, you can then RECALL this copy of your heroic (after you level it up to level 30) and then you've collected some extra orbs to go towards your empowerment total! This is a VERY long process to get a dragon fully empowered and to be honest, it will be faster to empower during empowerment happy hours (although these will cost a LOT of heroic joker orbs, so be aware!).

If the only goal of recalling and summoing is to get the few orbs from the rank up you actually dont need a duplicate you can do it with the first one and just keeps recall and summon it. Anyways i was looking for a way to get orbs for heroic but its seems the only real way to get to lvl without spending money is to use the pure or the primal dragons which you can at least buy in the shop.

I have a question. So if you completed the Heroic race then the quests for more orbs, do you then summon another of the same kind or empower then summon after another one rank up and recall summon recall and eventually empower again?

I am still confused not sure if you could reply to this explain or make another video. There are not enough Dragon City YouTubers and I appreciate you content so much. I played this when I was much younger 22 now and so much has changed. I have the High Voodoo Dragon, supremecy and new toy one and want to empower them and other dragons.

This feels doable with the dragons that cost 100 orbs but what about the new Havoc Invader that cost 200 I got the pass so I got extra orbs but if I summon a 2nd one it will cost 200 and to recall I assume it’s 100 orb max? Plus +8?

Just can’t wrap my head around it.. I’ve been playing for 3 weeks tho, it’s happy empowerment hour as of rite now so I’m tryna understand this.

I got all the 4 dragons including my first heroic reached lap 8 but I was on 1st place on Leaderboard

Welp don’t have any fb friends, gonna be a grind trying to rank up the the dragons I end up using when arena is just filled with purple rank 3’s & empowerment 3+ most of the times, matchmaking in this game is whack
