I can’t believe I see this 3 years after publishing. The band is great, the guys are great.

At 6:15 you say: "Ooh that's a beautiful guitar!" Well Jim, I built that guitar... Just wanna say "Thank you" and how proud I am to be a small part of this gorgeous piece of music!

Definitely hear some Dream Theater as someone else also mentioned. Also hearing some Blackfield in there in the softer portions. Great find, Jim! Thanks!

Really good! Yet another awesome band I've been introduced to by this channel. Thanks!

Nice video! It's always amazing to know how many good bands out there exist.

It would be cool if you could react to the Djent / Progressive Death Metal band Meshugga. I recommend the song "Bleed"

Symphony X - "Odyssey" - a 24 minute epic journey and prolly their best song, or Symphony X - "Paradise lost"a mellow and one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. :)

Dilemma are Dutch. The drummer is Collin Leijenaar. The singer's voice reminds me a bit of the lead singer/guitarist from Pendragon.

Btw i can't stop recommending it cause this channel needs this band: cellar Darling with Insomnia. Thats progish metal with a hurdy gurdy and flutes. Also Merlin Sutter on the drums

Hey Jim! Good stuff man. Hope you'll revisit Marillion soon though, it's time haha! Very curious what you'll think about "This Strange Engine". They've had a very solid live performance at one of their Marillion weekends in Holland, personally I love it. Hope you do the same!

Decent to good, thought novelty slightly spun out; good technique! Certainly listen to more :)!

Ok, I found the answer, why Dilemma sounds so Spock's Beard and Frost*. Rich Mouser has mixed their latest album and he's also worked with Spock's Beard, Transatlantic and Neal Morse. And the Frost* connection is also there. This sounds really good, but dangerously close to these other bands. I guess I have listen their music a bit more.

Nice one Jim !...if you' run out on ideas (Joke), i recommend a try on Project RNL, awesome musicians "twisted truth" or "another one" are good to see what's going on...no albums released :( let me insist on The Dear Hunter (act 3/4/5...) don't loose such amazing band !!

Hey Jim, really like your reactions. I have a recommendation: do yourself the favor and listen to Psychotic Waltz. They have been one of the most original and best Progressive Metal bands and released four fantastic albums in the 90s. Particularly their first two, A Social Grace (1990) and Into the Everflow (1992) are absolute masterpieces. Listen to anything from Into the Everflow, preferably the title track or Butterfly. Believe me, you will thank me. By the way, Psychotic Waltz have reunited and will release a new album early next year... after 24 years! Cheers!
