The Dark Side Of The Moon 50 Years Competition entry.
This is my exact workflow and method.This is an example.
I start in Midjourney, I prompt: Cinematic, wide angle shot, brown structure in a park that looks like Guggenheim NYC, sun is rising (this is 12 seconds in the video). This is the basic structure for a prompt. I play with different variable to get a image that I like. I use "Style tuner" function in Midjourney. Usually I create 64 different styles with this function and play around till I’m satisfied of overall look.

After Midjourney I upscale my images in Topaz photo AI(if I need more detail I use Magnific AI to pull out more detail from the image). If there is something I want to change in a image, I use Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.

Editing/efx/animation is done in Premiere pro and After effects. Last thing is scaling with Topaz Video AI. This was the best way for quality footage at that moment.

Biggest obstacles for me were:
Consistency, it’s really hard to get a solid story or scene happening. AI is not that smart yet or my prompting is not efficient.
Cost, monthly plans for all software I use, around 400 Euros a month. Also, I often wonder what is the carbon footprint of that Nvidia H100 cloud servers I use?
Time, I’m not keen on regular AI generated art ecstatics and it takes time to get the look right.

Nuutti Kataja, thank you for creating this to share with everyone. The small town that I grew up in, that's like a lot of other towns, with the same houses and streets is named "Eagle Rock", by the way. It's in Northeast L.A., right up against the foothills. This song from The Dark Side Of The Moon came out in 1973. I was sixteen. Me, my two sisters and our friends would drink either Colt 45, Country Club or Schlitz Malt Liquor while smoking all the weed we could get down or lungs before my mother came home from work, then we'd go to the park or bowling alley until it got very late. Many times this song and whole album would be blasting as high as the console record player in our house could muster, only because we'd be in the backyard swimming pool laughing together and needed it that loud so we could hear every word and note. Then suddenly, it all ended right before our very eyes, right along with our youth. I'm an old man now, well, I qualify as an old man anyways. I'm over sixty-five by more than a solid year. Back then I didn't expect to live to age twenty-one, let alone age forty! I still have all of my sweet memories though. I wouldn't exchange them for all the gold in the world either, the good memories and the bad ones. ALL memories have their value. Memories are what I am, what I'm made of. I live in Maine now, it's like night and day compared with Northeast L.A. I miss Eagle Rock sometimes. But the internet and my memories allow me to still visit there, return there again and have fun with my sisters and old friends and again, with wonder.
