This lens on an APS-C body would give us the perfect "normal" lens - 42.5mm which is perfect for street and everyday photos.
This lens on a full-frame body would give us the best focal length for travel. 24mm is too distort for the video to look great and 35mm is too long to get everything in the frame.
This is gold and it's way too underrated for what it can do.

My favorite streaming lens (webcam) is the Sony 28 f2 and I don't know why it's so overlooked! Having it just on top of my PC is the perfect focal length for a beautiful creamy bokeh, always sharp, fast focusing, very compact and cheap to buy! I was using the Tamron 17-28 f2.8 and the Sony 28 f2 is much better for a streaming lens.

I use it for most of my home videos, and love it for that reason. I can't justify going full G / wider for amateur use. I have tried the 20mm f/1.8, but that is already 2/3 of the cost of a brand new A7S Mk.3 for me, so I'm saving up for that instead, and keeping the 28mm a bit longer :)
