Ontario Liberals In Panic Mode Over Hydro

Hydro rates dominate new legislative session at Queen's Park on Tuesday. Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and her fellow Liberals are slammed over the rising hydro rates. Reporter exposes Wynne's desperate, pathetic and laughable attempt to win back voters before the June 7, 2018 election.

to many people living off the government in canada. teachers, public transit, Canada post, lcbo, beer store, Dr's, nurses, and so on. all these people have no problem voting for liberal since they sign the paycheck

Promises promises, nothing gets kept. Or maybe you get pickpocketed elsewhere for the reduction. How is that in the old days, electricity transport was a fraction of the total bill, but now its about 98%? Cables are made from cheaper materials if anything. Maybe it’s because the private are able to produce power from alternative sources? Maybe the next move is to charge on batteries while you are at work and use when home instead of buying all this outrageously expensive transport all the time? This way power sellers can be bypassed all together!! My guess is a 6kw solar installation can produce about 4000kwh per year. This can be backed up with diesel and a sound trap if you have a nice spot somewhere.

And now we get the lovely carbon tax added to our bills and that will make the price of EVERYTHING go up. Every time I go to the grocery store the prices have gone up as it is. I'm on disability and live in poverty. I can't go anywhere or do anything.
