Congratulations on the grandson! Our first grand is a boy and I was nervous, thinking I knew nothing about little boys. Let me tell you, little boys are a hoot! We have enjoyed every second with him. Unfortunately they moved 7 hours away when he was two so we don’t see them as much as we would like but we visit every couple of months. He has a sister now and she is also fabulous. I love to sew for her! Welcome to the grandparent club! As for your question, I’m with your friend Michelle - I love all types of fabric as long as they are colorful! I need color everywhere in my life to be happy 😃

Congratulations on the 👶🏻 news!!!! A grandson 👏🏻 we can share sewing ideas as I have made a few things for mine. We can tell you are just oozing excitement for this and you will make the perfect Grandma☺️. Thank you ENORMOUSLY for the shout out, I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be able to chat with people about sewing. Without you, this just wouldn’t be possible. That linen dress is just inspired, the pattern looks scary and needs accuracy (‘which is my weakness) but I do have a similar Kwik Sew pattern that is simpler to sew so hope you don’t mind, I may replicate your dress (lucky we live so far apart!!!). Ditsy floral all the way for me and even the word’s true meaning matches me 🤣😂. I try to be more sensible with fabric choice but you can’t help your passion. Thanks again ☺️ x

Oh Jen, Congratulations on becoming a grandma! Let the baby sewing begin! Pupperita patterns are wonderful for all sizes. Easy to make and cheap. They have a Facebook group that you should check out.

Congratulations on being a new Grandma! Had 3 daughters now I have 5 grandsons! Grandsons are wonderful little "animsls". I'm in Florida and the youngest is in georiga. Was so concerned he wouldn't know me in a close relationship. He is now 16 and has always LOVED this grandma. Miles away is no distance with Grammy (that's what he calls me) and Grandson. Enjoy!!
