Outstanding information, clear and thorough explanations, excellent insights, and stellar recommendations from the foremost wine authority of social media himself – you’ve done it again, John! I just had the 2016 Tronquoy-Lalande last night and it was absolutely stunning. Thank you for mentioning the exact amount of each grape variety in the blend. Though I knew it had 52% Merlot and 39% Cab Sauv, I didn’t know the exact amount of Petit Verdot and Cab Franc in the blend. Now I’m going to hunt down your other recommendations! The second wine of Calon Ségur, “Le Marquis”, is fantastic! I think it generally sells for over $40 but I did find it at Costco for closer to $30. Sadly, I only bought one bottle and when I went back to stock up, they were all out! In my opinion, amazing value when compared to their first wine. Great video 👍🏻

My conclusion: Bordeaux is changing all the time - castles have to be reconsidered. Thank you for these nice recommandations. One could also mention Château Phélan-Ségur - even if it costs about 45 - 50 $. Highly enjoyable! From 2014 on only good vintages.
