I was in a 4 yr long abusive relationship, I finally gained the courage to walk away a year and a half ago. I've battled with depression and I've tried taking my own life due to the things my ex made me think about myself....I'm now 19 and I've completely came out of that dark place I was once in, I'm now about to join the military and serve my country. I learned that sometimes we try so hard that we should just pause for awhile, do nothing, and let God take care of our circumstance. I once had this enemy in Scotland, but instead of trying all these legal remedies I trusted God to fight my battle for me., and HE did. Praise the Lord.

This is my favorite song. I was about to take my life after my senior high school football season in winter 2019. I prayed to God asking him to help me improve my football skills to make it to the next level. Long Story short---> After that prayer, God answered me and put the light in me by putting a man in front of me at track practice in spring 2019. He has helped me improve my football skills and it is absolutely crazy. I have gained over 20 pounds, improved my bench by over 50 pounds and squat by over 100 pounds, and took over 3 tenths of a second off of my 40 time :) God lives!!!

This song reminds me that no matter what obsticals I face, God's light shines bright in me. It is always there to remind me what this daily battle is for.
