Today Architectural Digest is welcomed to the arid American Southwest by NBA all-star Devin Booker for a tour of his stylish and inviting mansion in the shadow of the Phoenix Mountains. While Booker is widely considered among the NBA’s brightest young stars, his origins tell a humbler story. “When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I’d close my eyes before bed and imagine what my house might one day look like.” With an assist from L.A.-based AD100 firm Clements Design and in collaboration with L.A.-based Karan Brady Interiors, that dream is now a reality. With retracting walls of glass and a yard that boasts a Bali-inspired swimming pool, a firepit, and a guesthouse, the young superstar knows that wherever the rigors of an NBA season may take him, this personalized oasis will be waiting upon his return.

The house is beautifully put together and that mountain view is phenomenal. 🏜 Everything is intentional, functional, and centered around being a gathering place for friends and family. 🏡 It was cool getting to know Devin through his home and articulation of his furniture and decor. 🪑

This is the most inviting mansion I ever saw, you can see its designed to make people feel confy and happy arround, lotta objects, art, decoration to catch someone attention and very warmed places to hang on with friends, its clearly a house to be with people and not that cold/isolated homes that fancy people like to live in, its rich but at the same time, looks humble, loved that.
