I'm from Oklahoma and I've been writing to Lankford for the past few days urging him to revoke his objection in advance. The only reason some people in Oklahoma have questions about the election is because people like him feed their fears with lies and give credence to their unfounded notions. Lankford is on the wrong side of history and an embarrassment to our great state. I expect this sort of thing from Inhofe but, for some reason, I expected more from Lankford. Please know that there are decent people in Oklahoma and that these two jabronis don't speak for all of us.

Trump didn’t ask people to read between the lines on Wednesday,  he was explicit: “[Y]ou’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong…We’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, … and we’re going to the Capitol, … and we’re going to try [to] give our Republicans…the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.”

I would like to remind the people of this nation, but most importantly the people of Oklahoma. In your state capital, there is a memorial to 168 individuals if I am not mistaken. 168 victims who died at the hands of McVeigh, a right wing extremist and domestic terrorist. Now if you do your research, you will see, his views weren't so different as the people we saw at the US Capitol or the rioters that took advantage of BLM protests. Extremism is DANGEROUS and we moderates do not condone any form in extremism on either side. However, when we have a President that fuels the flame of extremism and insurrection and distrust of our government, it will be only a matter of time before another OKC bombing will happen.
