Huge thanks to Justin for the investment in time to put these kind of detailed lessons together for us. I've just learned this all the way through (took me a couple of weeks on and off), and I can now play the whole song! I'm about 6 months into learning guitar (started this year in March) and have just finished Justin's Beginner Grade 2 course. My brother (who has been playing guitar for 20+ years) recommended I learn this song properly and all the way through to stretch myself and pick up some ideas and technique. This is really the first "proper" song I've learned all the way through. I feel pretty stoked! The plan now is to keep learning some more beginner to intermediate songs and consolidate my knowledge from Grade 2 over the next 3 months or so, and then forge ahead with Grade 3. Oh, and I'm going to buy my first guitar soon (getting a classical guitar setup ;)).

Can't thank you enough for contributing to 'universal karma' by offering your content for free knowing very well that you could monetize it with your excellent teaching style. Watched a couple of YT lessons for this song, but once again, everything about your method, especially counting out the beats in a measure, make your lesson stand head and shoulders above others. Your 'doesn't have to be exact...nobody cares' may be one of the best bits in this lesson, as folks like me can get hung up on trying to play it 'perfectly', which just slows my progress as a guitarist. I am amazed at how much I can learn from one of your videos. My son has only been taking lessons from a live teacher for about a month so nothing really exciting about what he was playing...one day he starts playing a recognizable song that I hear on the radio. I asked him where the heck he learned it. He showed me one of your videos. It made me want to try playing again. Thank you for your videos!

Extreme play it a half tone down, which might make it easier to sing, but doesn't help when you play along. Thanks for the lesson!
